About Us
Glencoe is situated in the prestige suburb of Fort Hill overlooking King William’s Town and the Amotole mountain range in the distance.
This stately home was built in 1910 and we have incorporated fusion style of the old with the latest 21st century contemporary decor. Wooden floors extend throughout the house and accompanied by 3.6-metre-high imprinted steel ceilings of architecture finesse.
There are four garden rooms with an extended wooden deck overlooking the swimming pool and the Amotole Mountain range in the horizon. On the main house we have three rooms; 3 contemporary suites.
Rooms are all unsuited, equipped with DSTV, mini bar fridges, coffee/tea making facilities and complimentary guest amenities. All rooms have been dressed in the highest quality linen, which includes 7.5 Tog duck and down feather duvets imported from Europe.
To add to our establishment, we have added 4 new furnished self-catering apartments. These delightfully decorated Apartments are suited for tenants wanting to stay for 3- 12 months consecutively.

Owners are extremely warm and welcoming. Accommodation very comfortable. Outstanding breakfast, even better suppers, and yes, percolated strong coffee for breakfast. Glencoe is my home away from when I visit KWT.

Lovely guesthouse. Clean rooms. Warm bed. Fridge and microwave in room. Friendly hostess. Very nice home cooked dinner. Secure parking. Wi-Fi in room was weak but great in dining room. Very central.

Giselle is a great host. She responded immediately to requests for directions before my arrival. Arriving at Glencoe, I was greeted with a smile and the room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed including a bar fridge and microwave. I had a delicious breakfast the next morning. Definitely my home from home when I'm in King Williams Town again. Superb. 5 out of 5
